Employed Private Practice: Electrophysiology Cardiologist Opportunity - Valley Baptist Medical Center | Harlingen, TX
Valley Baptist Physician Network is actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Electrophysiologist to join a private practice in Harlingen, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a comprehensive cardiology service line alongside an established and highly respected team.
Highlights:
- Practice Setting: Join our existing Heart & Vascular Clinic team, supported by a robust practice in Brownsville. This opportunity is positioned for rapid growth in an area with high demand.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM with shared call (approx. 3-7 days/month).
- Patient Volume: Average of 25 clinic patients per day and 10-15 procedures per week to start.
- Facilities & Technology: Access to four state-of-the-art Cath Lab Suites with cardiac, EP, and neuro capabilities.
- Support: Dedicated clinic staff, including manager, front desk, medical assistants, and billing/coding support.
- M.D. or D.O. with completion of accredited Electrophysiology fellowship
- Texas medical license or eligibility for an unrestricted Texas license
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
This position carries privileges at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen, a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center and regional leader in comprehensive care, with the potential for privileges at our sister facility in Brownsville.
- Cardiology Resources: Four Cath Lab Suites with cardiac, EP, and neuro capabilities
- Advanced Technology: Recently added an additional da Vinci surgical robot, Brainlab computer navigation system, AIRO mobile intraoperative CT, and Cirq robotic surgical arm - the first to bring minimally invasive robotic spine surgery to the Rio Grande Valley
