Description
Seeking BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join NKC Health in the Kansas City Northland (Missouri) in a well-established hospital-based practice. Work alongside 18 of the most respected and experienced Cardiologists in the area (4 interventionalists, 4 electrophysiologists, 10 general cardiologists). The program is supported by three cardiothoracic surgeons on staff.
Services are provided at NKC Health hospital, a 451-bed, level 2 trauma center with 21,000 admissions and 70,000 ER visits. Hospitalists admit and manage patients. Dedicated CV ICU for cardiovascular services/open heart surgeries. Cerner is clinic and hospital based EMR. Potential candidates will join a well-established Cardiology program with a full EP service with complex ablations, structural heart program including TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, CardioMEMS, PFO closures, with potential plans for a TriClip program. Ancillary services include heart failure clinic, cardiac rehab and anticoagulation clinic. NP/PAs assist with hospital rounding, discharge education and weekend rounds. Call and rounding responsibilities are only at one hospital.
This position is hospital employed through our physician enterprise, a multi-specialty group comprised of 200 physicians. Referral base includes 70+ employed and 25+ independent primary care physicians in the community.
